This is an obvious purpose pitch, but I doubt Schlitter meant to hit Carlos Gomez right in the melon. That being said, I would also bet that Schlitter got more than a few high fives after the game in the clubhouse.
I predict a Cubs/Brewers beanball war tonight, Aug. 3 2010. I’m kinda like a Baseball Nostradamus that way. Unfortunately, I also forsee a man wearing jersey #23 as the Cubs manager in 2011. Baseball Nostradamus is rarely wrong.
