I have long given Chelios a bad rap because about 18 years ago, I ran into him at a joint in Oak Brook and he was a complete dick…throwing hundreds on the floor because money ‘meant nothing’ to him, asking every server and bartender if she would blow him in the parking lot, trying to fight anyone bigger than him…typical asshole stuff. But, that was only one time almost 20 years ago, so I should probably get over it. I mean, if the notoriously easy-going Vedder likes the guy, then I’m cool with him. Plus, he stays till the bitter end during one of the single worst games in the 140 years of Cubs history, so he can’t be all that bad.
Now, Cusack is quite the different story. Look at his disheveledness. He looks like he’s in the middle of a 10 day coke binge with a 30 year dead John Belushi. I can only imagine the scores of female fans he has personally disappointed tonight.
UPDATE:
Eddie’s a REAL Cubs fan. There he is in the bottom of the 8th with the Cubs down 16-1. Hell, even I would have bailed by then.
