I originally stared numbering these Soriano posts in the thousands as a joke. Because, you know, I’m hilarious. But now, since it seems every day there is a new low in the field (or on the bases) with Soriano, I fear I might run out of numbers. Kinda like how the Bears can’t retire any more jersey numbers because Papa Bear retired too many too early. That’s why a mope like Jay Cutler can claim the #6 when it should clearly be retired for the team’s all-time leading scorer in the legendary Kevin Butler.
Expectations are so low for Soriano, official scorers don’t even give him errors any more. And don’t give me any crap about the sun. He had ample opportunity to catch this ball, but he loafed it (as usual) from the crack and missed it because he doesn’t care. Period.
