OK, so…like many, if not most, Cubs fans, I have mixed feelings about John Cusack. Movies like Eight Men Out and High Fidelity, not to mention the groundbreaking Hot Tub Time Machine, cement his place in Chicago-actor history, but unfortunately, I had the displeasure of actually meeting him once, and let’s just say he more than lived up to his legendarily douchey reputation.
BUT, in all fairness, he sings the stretch pretty much exactly like Harry did, leaning the mic into the crowd at just the right times…so, I suppose he can’t be all that bad. But he also hangs out with freaking Chelios. Sheesh. Now, that’s a story for another time, kids.
