After getting blown 41-17 out by a Titans team which began the 2009 season by going 0-6, the Buffalo Bills fired head coach Dick Jauron Tuesday.
Jauron flew to Detroit to meet with Bills owner Ralph Wilson only to be blindsided by the firing, according to ESPN.
With a dismal career regular season record of 60-82, this probably means the end of the head coaching carousel for Jauron. He will get a nice job as defensive coordinator somewhere and that will be that.
No word on whether or not he gave Ralph Wilson the finger on the way out the door. (espn)
