Hooray! This is almost like finding the silver lining in the Cubs disastrous 2009 season, but really nothing like that at all, and actually much, much worse. If Carlos Zambrano could only pitch as well as he hits. (Oh, what a difference a year makes.)
I hear Big Z is staying in Chicago this winter. Terrific. What could possibly go wrong? Someone who gets frustrated at the drop of a hat and loses his temper quicker than you can say ‘there goes another Jay Cutler interception’ should find wintertime in Chicago a majestic spectacle filled with grandeur and wonder. Until the first snow and he has to dig his car out and stick an ironing board and a broken lawn chair in the space so no one steals his spot. (espn)
