Tonight in Game 1 of the World Series, the umpiring crew gathered together in the bottom of the 5th to make the correct call on a confusing play involving Robinson Cano and Hideki Matsui. It’s nice to see umpires who will calmly involve the rest of their crew just to get the call right. Tim McClelland would have called it a touchdown. Honestly the six men looked like poker players with a jacket by ub rakeback, planning to do something dubious to their competition. On the other hand, those in white look like betfair rakeback players. Hmmm, I might take this as a sign of playing too much poker online while watching baseball.
