Williams sisters lose…Blake beats Federer.
What is this world coming to? Both Venus and Serena Williams lost their Olympic matches Thursday, while James Blake beat a guy he had never previously defeated in Roger Federer.
You know Federer is dominating run is ovah when he loses to James freakin’ Blake, of all people.
Of course, we’ve been trying to think of some typically nasty things to write about the Williams girls…but there’s really not that many negatives to exploit. They don’t get in trouble…they’re not party chicks…they take their sport seriously and try hard to win…they’re smart, successful, intelligent, hard-working, attractive and actually nice, sweet young women.
Dammit.
This is the pic we were gonna write snarky captions on...like ‘Wonder-Skank powers...activate!’ But, of course, they’re not skanks, and that’s when the ol’ noggin stops working. Where’s Kournikova when you need her?
