Skip Caray bellies up to the great, big bar in the sky.

Atlanta Braves longtime broadcaster Skip Caray died today in his sleep from complications due to diabetes. Caray was 68.

We put Skip in the same category of a Hawk Harrelson. Enough of a ‘homer’ to be beloved by hard-core fans…but too annoying for the rest of the viewing world. His dad was a legend, and Skip certainly couldn’t fill those shoes, but he was a solid baseball broadcaster and an overall good egg.

RIP Skip Caray.
