We’re glad she won…if only for the reason that now she doesn’t have to spend the next 4 years answering questions about how the 2008 Olympics in Beijing were a ‘disappointment’. She seems like a good kid who has said all the right things in the face of difficulty and bad luck.
Plus, she’s like America’s Sweetheart and we need to stick it to those Chinese bastards somehow. Not the Chinese people, of course…they’re decent human beings just trying to make ends meet like every other national populous on Earth…we mean the gymnastics Olympic officials and government types. They suck donkey dick.
