There’s a huge puff piece in today’s Chicago Tribune written by some spineless hack named Vaughn McClure designed to help erase the public memory of last year’s drunken, 5am Lamborghini crash. However, as usual, Briggs declines to take responsibility for his actions when discussing his drunk driving.
“Instead of people wondering if I was OK or not, the main question was, ‘Was he drinking?’ Regardless of whether I was drinking or not, I’ve been in a car and I’ve sped before,” he says. “I’ve done so in the daytime. It’s a poor decision no matter what time of the day it is.”
What a monstrous douchebag. To most civilized people, it’s not ‘regardless’ of whether you were drinking, dickhead. You put thousands of other lives at risk when you took that trashy looking, lemon-yellow Lamborghini onto the Edens Expressway at 5am after a big night of drinking.
We all know it was your butt-buddy Urlacher…another scumbag who takes zero personal responsibility…who picked you up afterwards, too.
As Bears fans, we take serious exception at having to cheer for the exploits of these filthy criminals.
