ESPN’s new all-SportsCenter-all-the-time format has just announced that the Reds have traded Cub-killer and MLB home run leader Adam Dunn to the Arizona Diamondbacks for three minor league prospects.
Dunn would have looked nice in Wrigley Field pinstripes to spell the struggling Kosuke Fukudome…but he’s a big personality in the Clubhouse who can potentially severely disrupt a team’s chemistry.
The behemoth Clubhouse Cancer meathead Dunn will provide some much needed pop to the D-Backs lineup who have been without Justin Upton for the last month, as well as FOX Sports’ completely unfunny Eric Byrnes who is dunn for the season with a torn hammy.
This is actually good news for the Cubs, who play their division rival Reds six more times, but don’t (and won’t) meet Arizona again this season.
