Not with the way schoolgirls like Skip Bayless and Dan LeBatard fall to their knees to pay a little ‘oral homage’ whenever a trade involving Oakland is even mentioned. Like this Rich Harden trade, for instance.

You know what he knows? Fucking nothing. He knows as much as you and I…but instead of going into accounting or sales after his sport career was over, like the rest of us…he went into the business of baseball. Relatively intelligent dudes can easily talk their way into top-level executive positions in sports…trust us, on that one.
Wake us when he wins something, anything….even just a pennant…because it ain’t gonna be for quite a while.
