Bonds’ record breaking ball not HOF bound.
Some prissy little fashion designer named Marc Ecko has reneged on his promise to donate Barry Bonds’ 756th home run ball to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, NY.
Since Ecko wasted $750 large on a ball to which he has subsequently added editorial asterisks, he has found zero buyers and now even the HOF has backed away from his demands.
“The owner’s previous commitment to unconditionally donate the baseball has changed to a loan. As a result, the Hall of Fame will not be able to accept the baseball,” a HOF spokesman said Tuesday.
How did some princess named Marc Ecko get enough dough to buy the ball in the first place?
Let this be a lesson to all of you pinky-ring wearers with too much money and too little sense. Nobody wants a piece of memorabilia you have defaced because of your desperate need to inject yourself and your mortal worthlessness into legitimate sports history.
Go fuck yourself, Marc Ecko.
