In a meeting that Bill Parcells scheduled, Jason Taylor and the vice president of football operations held an amicable in-person talk to discuss Taylor’s concerns about his future with the team, two sources told the Miami Herald.
The meeting was said to have been quite cordial, but was also ultimately ineffective. Taylor apparently left the meeting without any better feelings about his situation.
The ‘Dancing Queen’, as he is increasingly known to his Dolphin teammates, still much prefers to be traded, and he told Parcells he still believes it can get done.
That's where both sides apparently disagree.
During the meeting, Parcells told Taylor that efforts to trade him have become fruitless because the market for the Pro Bowl player doesn't match his current value to the Dolphins.
Not many teams want a player on the downside of his career and who has publicly stated 2008 will be his final season. The problem is, a thick-headed moron like Taylor, who has sycophants constantly filling his head with dreams of Hollywood stardom, truly thinks he's smarter than a life-long football genius like Parcells.
It must be tough to be such an amazing athlete on the field, but yet be so stupid off it.
