That was just one of the memorable quotes from Hammerin’ Hank Aaron who gave the commencement speech at Concordia University (WI) last Saturday.
We only wish The Hammer could have been that honest last summer.

He might have been chastising our lame-duck President and the current military situation in Iraq…buuuuuuut…probably not.
Bob Costas or Bryant Gumbel need to sit down with this sincere American icon and wring the necessary truth from him, just like The Hammer would wring sawdust from the handle of a blonde Hillerich & Bradsby model A99.
