On the virtual eve of the Indy 500, tiny little Helio Castroneves acknowledged he's been mulling over following other open-wheel stars to NASCAR, the Los Angeles Times reported.
No shit.
“I won’t deny that I’m thinking about it,” Castroneves said Monday, according to the Times. “It would be great to one day try the [stock] cars. But at this point I’m focusing on Indy cars and winning the Indianapolis 500 again.”
Helio needs to have a chat with Juan Pablo Montoya, Sam Hornish and Mr. Ashley Judd about how much fun it is to finish 40th every week.
When Kyle Busch nudges him into the 3rd turn wall goin’ 160 at Talledega next summer, Helio will wish he stayed the big fish in Danica’s small pond.
